Whether you are getting together with family and friends for 4th of July or celebrating the next steps in life (grad parties, weddings, birthdays), these sourdough recipes are crowd pleaser. And I promise everyone will want to know the recipe!

How on earth is it already time for graduation parties and summer weddings? This year seems like it is flying by and my goodness – are we ready for warmer weather or what?!
With all the summer events around the corner, here are some of our favorite recipes you can bring to any potluck style party. These feed crowds well and truly make it easy for people to take a piece and ‘go’.
We love these sourdough recipes for gatherings and parties and will be bringing them with us all summer long.
1. Sourdough Pretzel Bites

You already know if we are feeding a crowd we are most certainly bringing pretzel bites! These soft, pillowy pieces of dough are gobbled up by the masses. Honestly – we just go right ahead and double the batch every time so we are left with some the next day.
If you make these ahead, consider bringing an air fryer to warm them up in. And do not forget the condiments!
2. Strawberry Cake (with a cracking crust)

Oh – our love for this dessert goes to the ends of earth. Made with fresh milled flour, vanilla bean paste and turbinado sugar on the top for a crunchy crust, this cake is so soft and delicious. The strawberries are perfect for spring time and truly make us wonder why we do not make it every year.
I promise this is one cake that will have no slices left behind!
3. Sourdough Brownies (with frosting)

Sourdough brownies are an easy classic recipe. And when you add chocolate frosting and sprinkles – it is game over.
This recipe has a crackle frosting which just makes each brownie bite even more delicious.
4. Soft and Fluffy Sourdough Dinner Rolls

We love dinner rolls. They just taste so good in dipping oil (and vinegar)! Plus, they make the perfect addition to any family gathering (at any time of the year!). If you like dinner rolls, try out these cheddar garlic scape sourdough rolls. I can assure you they will be a hit!
5. Sourdough Peach Galette

We are terrible at making pie. This galette however has us writing home. The flaky crust is one of our favorite parts of the recipe – not to mention the juicy peaches.
Add any fruit you would like within this recipe and enjoy alongside homemade whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
6. Sourdough Hawaiian Roll Sliders

If you like King Hawaiian rolls, make this homemade version with significantly less ingredients. These dinner rolls are some of our favorites to eat alone – or turn into a slider!
While these rolls are baked together, they pull apart nicely – giving everyone their own piece (no slicing necessary).
7. Sourdough Hawaiian Roll Sliders

If you add turkey lunch meat, mayo and provolone cheese to Hawaiian rolls – what do you get? The most delicious slider ever!
This recipe uses our sourdough Hawaiian rolls and elevates them into a full ‘meal’. Top with mustard and poppyseeds for a delicious ‘bite’.
8. Sourdough S’mores Bars

This is the simple way to make everyone’s day. Bring sourdough s’mores bars!
Each bite will have graham crackers, marshmallow fluff and chocolate chips. It’s like the easy way to make s’mores – but in bar form.
9. Sourdough Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

If you have sourdough breadcrumbs and mozzarella cheese – combining them to make cheese sticks is a ‘no-brainer’. While this dish would need to be prepared in advance, they can be ‘fried up’ in an air fryer and served right away.
We love these with a little marinara sauce or ranch for dipping. They are a normal staple in our freezer for an easy sourdough appetizer – ready any time of the day.
10. Sourdough Mac and Cheese Bites

Apparently a lot of appetizers we like to make have to do with an air fryer…
These sourdough Mac and cheese bites are an easy way to use leftover Mac and cheese and repurpose them into a whole other dish! This is another great use for leftover breadcrumbs (or stale bread).
11. Sourdough Garlic Pull Apart Bread

We love a good sourdough garlic pull apart bread! This is such a good shareable recipe and is also very beginner friendly.
12. Sourdough Cheesy Pull Apart Bread

If you like pizza and you like mozzarella cheese – this bread may become your go to recipe!
Dip the pieces in pizza dip, marinara sauce or ranch.
13. Sourdough S’mores Fudge Bars

This sourdough s’mores bar is an elevated version of s’mores that both kids and adults will enjoy. The base is a graham cracker crust. The middle is a chocolate ganache and the topping is a homemade marshmallow fluff. Truly delicious!
14. Sourdough Chickpea Blondies

If you want to sneak a little fiber and protein into a recipe – this one is for you! These sourdough chickpea blondies have a secret ingredient that no one would guess (chickpeas!). This is one recipe you can feel good about putting on a table full of sugary sweets.
15. Fresh Milled Flour Scones

Chocolate chip scones are just better at parties! Seriously – they are easy to make (you can prepare them and put them into the freezer and cook them the day you want them). This is one of our favorite sourdough recipes for gatherings.
16. Sourdough Garlic Knots

Sourdough garlic knots might be one of the most underrated recipes. They have a double rise- which helps if you need some extra time to get ready for a gathering.
These are pull apart, therefore everyone will have their own and will be digging into the pillowy softness of each bite.
17. Fresh Milled Flour Sourdough Brownies

This fudge-y fresh milled flour brownie recipe is our ‘go-to’ for parties. The reason being – they are a crowd pleaser (and come together in less than 10 minutes)!
These brownies have a delicious crust and are oh-so-fudgy (as long as you ‘underbake’ them, that is).
18. Sourdough Almond Croissant Cookies

These cookies are a labor of love. However, I have had success cooking them from frozen the day of an event and they turn out perfect – every time!
If you like almond these cookies might be your new favorite. They are an almond cookie base filled with almond frangipane and are topped with more almonds.
19. American Flag Sourdough Fruit Pizza

If you are heading to a 4th of July party, bring this American Flag Sourdough Fruit Pizza. It is made with a sourdough sugar cookie crust and has a cream cheese frosting. Use fresh berries to decorate.
This recipe can be made for any occasion and is truly a showstopper on the kitchen table.
20. Sourdough Burger Sliders

If you want to bring a full on ‘meal’ to a gathering – make the sourdough burger sliders! They are made with all the burger flavors and are easily assembled in your home oven (no grilling required).
Use your favorite sourdough hamburger bun recipe – or take a shortcut and make sourdough Hawaiian rolls (make them the day before and assemble the day of your party).
Rest assured, everyone will want the recipe as this is one of our favorite sourdough recipes for gatherings!
