As the web continues to develop, so do the ways humans evolve and search for sourdough recipes and sourdough education. Lately, the elephant in the room for food bloggers is AI.

We are talking openAI, the change in search platforms, and the updates on how people receive and digest information (and recipes). Not to mention how people are leaving social media or other platforms in its entirety because things are tailored by the algorithm and not our specific interests.

For those of us sticking through with the goal to provide education to others, we are also learning to adapt.

These are some of the fun sourdough baking prompts I have been trying in our kitchen with AI to think outside the box. It is also helping me to better understand recipe consumption from a ‘user’ perspective.

While things will not change around here – I will not be relying on AI to develop recipes as I prefer to test them before baking them – the way readers receive information will continue to evolve. As a baker with over 15 years of experience with recipe development, all recipes on my blog are ones we love and eat regularly.

Here is to keeping up, with the keeping up, while staying true to our roots!
