If you like all the flavors in a breakfast sandwich (egg, sausage, cheese), try this savory sourdough dutch baby. Not only is it high in protein, but it tastes like a breakfast sandwich – without all the extra work. Add some salsa or sour cream on top to take it to another level.

4. Sourdough Dutch Baby (aka a German Pancake)

The classic sourdough dutch baby (aka a German pancake) will always make it to the top of our list. A dutch baby is equal parts fluffy and custard-y. Keep it simple and top it with powdered sugar or add some maple syrup for a little extra sweetness.

The classic blueberry muffin should be a requirement on every ‘mom’s’ breakfast toolkit. There is something so delicious about a blueberry muffin in the morning – especially with a pat of butter.

If you like cinnamon rolls – try this sourdough cinnamon pull apart bread. This recipe takes the delicious sourdough cinnamon roll base and is then assembled to be pull apart. Each person gets to take a slice to enjoy (kind of like monkey bread)!
